Average food, terrible service. A waitress went outside and ABUSED us since we didn't give a tip over 10%. We don’t usually do the math. Rather, we'll just round up the last digital to 0 as it's easier to visualize, like giving 50 instead of 45, or 120 instead of 106, so sometimes it might be somewhat higher/lower than 10%. We later figured out that we gave 9%, so that's literally 1 dollar difference. If you really want the money, then you should note this on your menu & make it as a rule so that everyone can follow. If you make it voluntary, then you shouldn't complain about it, even INSULTED customers who don't do that because that's your choice, and you're supposed to accept it! We've visited a lot of restaurants with the requirement, and they just put a statement on their menu, like "we charge an 18% of service fee." And we always follow the rules! Plus, the waitress even said, "We now recognize you." SO WHAT? Are you trying to terrify us? Do you come from a gangdom? Are you going to spy us or even crime? That's so rude & ridiculous! Don't come unless you want to be horrified by such a beggar!
Chef Jin is a true sushi master, and it shows in each handcrafted splendor served at Kamado. I’ve been dining here since the year they opened and can say unequivocally this is my favorite sushi spot in the bay!
They have excellent sushi as well as delicious teriyaki dishes
Meh. The flavors were a bit odd. Just not good enough for the prices paid.
Love this place so much. They are always good and affordable and the chef is so fun and knowledgeable.
Go-to favorite sushi in the Bay area. Fresh from Japan every day, no other compares. The fresh salmon in particular is the best I have had outside of Japan.
Wonderful selection of fresh fish
