Kam PO Kitchen

Do not go here. I think it was because we are white (European). So after looking at the menu, ordering and eating our food the rude lady came up to us and tried charging us more saying “these are the old prices”. Shouting at us demanding the money. Speaking mainly Cantonese and a few English words to say PAY! and MORE MONEY! The place will try rip you off if you are not Asian STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Complete racists!!!

Love the food here, the roast pork is delicious. I only eat here a handful of times a year but somehow the waitress knows what my usual order is? Amazing.

Be prepared to wait to sit and have lots of confusion between take out/sit-in customers. The prices on the menu are not accurate. Be prepared to pay 25-30% more than what you see. Service is slow but friendly. Food was not as good as people made it sound but generous in portion- got the staple dishes of roast/bbq pork and duck, and noodles which were very bland. A bit disappointed with the visit to this shop.

Incredibly delicious roasted meats, al-dente wanton noodles, flavorful soup and generous portions! There are no menus hanging on the walls so it may feel intimidating at first. The staff don't seem to speak english either, but if you talk to the friendly lady and ask for the menu, she speaks basic english and you just have to point to the item you want. I recommend the roasted duck noodles. Would definitely go out of my way to come back to Kam PO Kitchen!

Glad I found an HK-style rice spot. Two meats, some lettuce on a plate of rice with soup is a classic. It's quick and fills you up. Not going to give any extra points for hitting me in the nostalgia though. The meat was a bit cold and as BBQ pork goes, the cut had a nice mix of fat and lean meat, but was under-marinated. The roasted duck also only receives a passing grade. Sir Butcher needs to sharpen his knife and be more swift, there were several spots with bone shards! Portion was ok, for $15.5 I would've liked a bit more, but I can understand the bay area pricing. It's an ok spot. If you've eaten this sort of stuff growing up, it's a disappointing experience.

양이 진짜 많아요 하나당 3인분ㅋㅋㅋ 그리고 너무너무 맛있었음!! 추천!! 돼지도 껍데기부분 바삭하고 완전 굿 주인분이 억양이 세서 당황스러울 수 있는데 친절하시고 차도 너무 맛있었다~~ 짜지도 싱겁지도 않은 맛

was craving roast duck and found this gem! it was delicious, the duck was perfect (not chewy) and it was all for less than 10 dollars. amazing and will come back!!
