Food is tasteless, decent ambience, but service was good. We ordered Dahi vada, Chilli paneer, Vada pav, Hakka noodles . All items was completely bland.

Food was tasteless, no amount of salt could help us finish the food. Ordered Chole Bature and Pav Bhaji, the Chole had spice or salt and the pav was stale bread. Mango Lassi came looking fancy and tasted incredibly unlike any mango Lassi I've ever had. It was sour and could do with more sugar. Jeera water was not worth additional money spent on it. Never going back and wouldn't recommend.

Great vegetarian place in NYC. Their Tikka platter was really good, along with all other food. Mango Lassi was too thin and was a letdown though,it was ok the next time. However, their Kulfi Falooda was really really good!! Overall a good fully vegetarian place at good budget.

An awesome restaurant in Murray Hill. Food is really good and made fairly fresh. They are also very accommodating for people with specific dietary needs. Their Manchurian was excellent, crispy and well spiced. The pav bhaji was okay, felt a little bland. The paani poori was spicy and the water was perfectly made. They have a specific Jain menu for anyone who has this strict dietary restriction. Atmosphere: This is more like a casual restaurant but the food definitely is worth it. Service: Service was quick and efficient. I very much appreciated the attention to detail. Price: Very reasonable and good portion size. Insta: @TheShahLALand

If you haven’t been to Kailas Parbat in NYC then you are missing out on the real taste of India and specially if you are from Mumbai. This vegetarian place serves the best chat and snacks. I loved the KP chaat Platter, it comes with 3-4 different chaats of various tastes and spice. I liked the bhel puri and dahi wada. Definitely try chole batura, its was very nicely prepared. Our server was from Mumbai and spoke with us in our local languages gave us detailed information about the dishes. Paneer Hariyali was delicious and nicely smoked. I think all doshes here are meticulously prepared to give you the feel of your local food in India. I will highly recommend this place to everyone.

The most amazing chole bhature I've ever had, courtesy of Kailash Parbat (@kailashparbatnyc). To be fair, was is the only chole bhature I've ever had, but my goodness, was it ever tasty. The flavour of the curry was perfectly balanced, with a delightful zippiness. Makes sense given this place is straight from Mumbai. A word of warning. This dish is very filling—enough for two people. The samosas and and pav bhaji were also great, but the chole bhature was the shining star of this meal.
