I thought the coffee was good. It’s definitely an upgrade from a Starbucks, but it’s not as unique as some other “roast their own beans” coffee shops I been to recently (not in NYC, though). I’m got the Ethiopian brew, and it definitely was more bitter than all Ethiopian coffee I’ve had over the last two years (a lot, since it’s been my new fave). I do want to comment that, in reading the reviews, it seems odd to me that the owners are so negative to the people who leave negative reviews. I think those are an opportunity to learn rather than to lash out at people reviewing, and not in great form to not be able to take criticism.
They dealt with my complaint so well!
Great coffee and friendly service!
Hot chocolate was made with malice. We ordered a cold brew and despite extremely ostensible signs that more than suggested cold brew was on the menu, we were denied and offered an ice coffee with the flavor profile of some freshly grated wood, the ice being the only good thing about it. Worst way to start a year ever.
Wonderful staff, great coffee, food and outdoor seating.
Fast service, pricey for the quality of coffee, it is NYC tho.
