Just BE Kitchen - Lohi

Clean, healthy and delicious! That was my post from a year ago with a five star review for the food. Today was very disappointing. I've been coming here for dine-in lunch on average 2-3 times per month for many months now. I almost always get the fulfilled burrito and have loved it. Today it was actually gross and I only ate it because I was so hungry. My favorite part used to be the grilled sweet potato hash. It had texture and great flavor. I understand the need to cook more efficiently and consistently, but these new potatoes were just mushy and flavorless. Also, the tortilla usually is a little crunchy and is my second favorite part. Today it was clearly undercooked, doughy and mushy and flavorless. Basically that was my burrito experience: mushy and flavorless. So disappointing. I will return, hoping this was a bad day, because I have loved this place.

I ordered the ‘Awakened Breakfast Quesadilla’ with bacon. Cheddar wiz is their dairy-free option to mimic cheese. The cashier was friendly, and my meal was fresh and made to order. There is a parking lot next door with a $5 weekend price. Dietary restrictions: Dairy free, Gluten free, Keto options

An all GF restaurant can sometimes be disappointing but not in this case. Came here twice while in town. They really are good about listing allergens and the food itself is solid. Not jaw dropping, but it left me happy. Dietary restrictions: They have main allergens listed on the board but have a matrix that lists more allergens, like Cashews.

Ordered the Fulfilled breakfast burrito and the sweet potatoes were very burnt, to the point of being inedible. :( The entire bowl tasted and smelled like the burnt smell. When I called to let them know, Natalie who answered sounded really really tired and/or checked out. Give this poor woman a vacation!

I've been wanting to eat at one of the Just BE Kitchen locations for a long time and know people who gave rave reviews. I finally made it in the other day and unfortunately it wasn't quite what I had hoped. I was there after the lunch rush, with only a few people there who were waiting for their orders (dine in). I ordered the chicken quesadilla. The initial order took about 15 minutes to make and sadly was served to the wrong customer a couple tables over. I watched her open the quesadilla and poke her finger through the fillings and said 'this is the wrong quesadilla'. She took it back up front and the person bringing orders out immediately brought it back to me. When I asked to confirm that this was the same quesadilla the girl had poked through with her bare finger, the server pushed back with "it's only been out a few minutes". They did remake me a new one thankfully but I probably waited 35-40 minutes total and it was sadly very bland. The sauce was the consistency of water and also pretty bland. Overall for what I paid I don't think I'd go back again. Hopefully this was just an off day/moment.

Please bring back the wonder bowl!

Great breakfast spot

Yeah, it’s expensive but after getting put on an elimination diet to manage my autoimmune symptoms this place is a godsend!! Not even Whole Foods has options for my restrictions and always cooking at home can be a drag. Cauliflower wings and chocolate chip cookie were delicious. Mushroom latte is amazing. Cinnamon bun was tough/rock hard but still worth it. Would get the crave burger again as well. Wish they had this place in every city! Staff is friendly, kind and accommodating. They sell some of their baked goods as mixes as well, hope they continue to make more and sell them online.
