I had my birthday there before covid and I loved it and was so excited to be back. What a disappointment. I ordered a cemita which was really bland, tasted more of lettuce than anything else. It came on a small appetizer plate, which was odd to say the least, but no big deal. Difficult to eat over that small plate but whatever, maybe it was an honest mistake. I had to ask for napkins (he forgot) and salsa verde, and he brought 2 napkins and a small plastic container with salsa. Really ? 2 napkins for something you eat with your hands and can barely fit in your mouth? Are napkins so damn expensive that I only get 2 ? And salsa should come in some cup, not the plastic thing they give you to go. I would have been ok with the bad service, but the sandwich was not good. Any food truck on Roosevelt Ave has a better cemita, and it's not $16 . It was $14.10 and I gave him 16, which is very low, but still too much for that experience. Not to mention how difficult it is to park there, but sadly .....never going back
The staff was great, very attentive. The food was ok.
I bought 3 tacos: Suadero taco lacked a lot of flavor Al Pastor was ok Bistec was not bad A large aquafresca came out to $10. Overall the food was just ok.
They recommended a different house margarita and it was so bad. I tasted it and waitress came back took it away and then after bill I was still charged. She said as per owner. Not a good etiquette.
