The food was creative and delicious, with very attentive service. The lamb chops were especially yummy with the perfect flavor, tenderness and char. The atmosphere was upscale but warm and comfortable, with lovely wide plank wood floors and interesting lighting. Highly recommend.
Wonderful elevation of Indian cuisine!!! Small plates let you try a lot, but don’t be fooled, 3 plates is very hearty…. Wonderful experience….have to shout out Tanmay!!!! My UP Bhaiya!!! Your gentle smile and such warm hospitality really made this incredibly memorable… Vegetarian options: Tons to choose from….
The host on the front door Tell us that they have a policy for kids under 10-year-old are not allowed to come in the restaurant Is a very horrible place to go if you go with your kid you will get rejected I have been too many restaurants in Manhattan and New York I have never ever seen a policy like this Children under 10 are not allow in the restaurant. So stupid
Best Indian food I have had so far!! Everything was delicious!! We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and we were delighted with the whole experience.
we sat in the main dining room. unfortunately, the daal and other entrees came out cold and it didn't feel like a Michelin star restaurant and it makes sense why it's a former star restaurant and not anymore. when we asked for an old fashioned the bar tender apparently didn't know how to make it and sent all the ingredients to our table but didn't even make the drink. we were charged for shots of each of the ingredients and not charged for a singular drink. it was very weird. our server seemed to not know what was going on either. mixed up a few of our dishes. I really liked the cricket dessert but other than that it wasn't worth it. would not go back or recommend.
Fantastic Indian food in NYC! Limited menu but everything the table had was amazing!
So far one of the best restaurants I have been to. Amazing food with great ambiance and service. If you are looking for an amazing Indian food, I highly recommend this place.
