FIRST VISIT (2022): I had high hopes for this restaurant, and it met or exceeded all of them! What a cool, trendy, amazing place. The vibe was great. The food was unique and delicious, and the service was excellent. Shoutout out to Sean—she was an amazing server who made the experience extra special. However, ALL the staff was so on point; it was an incredible thing to watch. I only wish I had the capacity to eat more so I could’ve tried many other things on the menu. I guess I’ll just have to go back. :) I live a couple hours away and was only in town briefly, but eating here was an excellent use of my time and I can’t wait to go back sometime!! SECOND VISIT (2024): They still got it! Truly a remarkable restaurant. The atmosphere is enjoyable, the staff is on their game, and the food . . . whoa. Rabbit pasta dishes that make you feel like you're in a country cottage in France, cod in dashi that fills you with warmth, the most luscious bread that is soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, crazy-addictive honey butter, and tiny, fresh fish tostadas that make you want to high five the chef . . . JUST AWESOME.

I recently dined at Juniper & Ivy in San Diego, and I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience! The commitment to sourcing ingredients locally truly shines through in every dish, showcasing the freshest flavors of the region. Each bite was a masterpiece, carefully crafted with attention to detail and a creative flair that left me in awe. The ambiance was modern and inviting, perfectly complementing the innovative cuisine. From farm to table, every aspect of the meal was impeccable. A true gem in San Diego's dining scene, I highly recommend Juniper & Ivy to anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. The food is just amazing. Great service. KEVIN The waiter is exceptional. The house manager checks in with us. Staff is attentive and attention to details is excellent.

The food was not nearly as good as 5 years ago. Served was nice and The overall service was decent, but they mixed up our bill with the completely WRONG table. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting. For a high end restaurant, that's unacceptable. How clean is their kitchen if the bathroom looks as it does? I would no recommend.

Fantastic restaurant, that provides a true culinary experience. Can't wait to go back.

No brainer - Just go. Had scallops, sweet potatoes (really surprising!) miso cod, rabbit pasta and parsnip (have the parsnip after since its sweet). The sticky toffee cake was great altogether - i would just suggest the pastry chef to tone down a bit on cardamom since it completely overpowers the pear, which I couldnt really taste.
