the hostess was super sweet, the water person never let our glasses get empty, and the waiter was amazing! super quick and attentive. the food came out fast and omg was soooooo good. we did the prix fixe menu and every course was amazing. they also gave us a free champagne toast for our anniversary.

We got the fixed menu and were pleasantly surprised with the number of vegetarian friendly options on the 5-course menu. The food was really food and equally impressive was the service from Steve. Highly recommend!

OMG....Best birthday dinner ever! We got the Prix Fixe Menu for $85 and the 5 course meal was beyond delicious. Everything was seasoned so perfectly and we were excited and happy with each dish. We picked separate items so that we could share so really we had 10 food items to try out ;-) Our waiter was excellent and so were the drinks. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't yet.

The food is okay. The focaccia bread is overly salty. The puffy potatoes are tasteless. We ordered the risotto and savoy cabbage which were lacking in flavor. The drinks were all watered down. Overall, don’t recommend

So disappointed!!! I was hoping to splurge money for fancy tasting food for my birthday. Turns out I could have got a better meal with better service at the taqueria across the street. We should have known to stand up and leave as soon as we met our creepy waiter who could barely tell us what wines they had. He was so awkward and made us all uncomfortable. Hopefully he was on drugs as an excuse for this behavior. The food was mediocre. The only things that were tasty were the focaccia, crab pasta, and the wine (probably bc it made being there easier). The prix fixe menu was so stupid, most of the dishes on that side of the menu were on the a la carte side. We were told if one of us ordered the prix fixe we all had too. This pretentious restaurant should really lower their prices so that customers don’t get their hopes up.

Juniper is okay.. the focaccia was completely flavorless… no herbs, no garlic, no salt.. the beef carpaccio was pretty good.. definitely disappointed in the jumbo lump crab bucatini.. there was probably a tablespoon of shredded crab in the pasta.. the duck tortellini was just okay as well.. but the roasted cabbage was delicious! Overpriced for mediocre food. If you’re looking for good Italian food in Austin you can definitely find better options.

Delicious food and wonderful service. We had a large party for a work dinner and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Great adult’s Italian spot. This is grown up Italian done right. Easier to get into than Red Ash and slightly more accessible across the board for most palates, this is an excellent option for a sophisticated but easy night out. The beef carpaccio was excellent. Chef needs to teach others how to fry capers. The technique used on such a small piece was phenomenal. The savory “stracciatella” is exquisite. Do not sleep on their house made cheeses. Pro tip: The bar’s short side is the best seats in the house. There are three right in the middle of the two sides of the kitchen. It is a wonderful dinner and a show. It’s a high end spot that loves to get to know their regulars. It’s like cheers but high end Italian. Come hungry leave comfortably cared for and happy. Vegetarian options: Lots of eggs and cheese. So ok for vegetarians not great for vegans. Dietary restrictions: Depends on the server. Lisa at the bar was phenomenal- her make co-bartender pretended he could not accommodate anything. Very hit or miss. Parking: This is one of the worst valets - impossible to pull up to to use if anyone got there before you. Take a ride share. Kid-friendliness: Super high end but very accessible to kids who know how to be in such a space. Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible accept the entry. That is the heaviest door on earth. NASA needs to study the physics of this entrance.
