I really had a great time! The food is too quality, no comparison to any of the national chains. Service was very attentive and accurate. Leila R did a tremendous job making recommendations and answering questions. One of the people bringing out the clam appetizer plate spilled it. He tried to clean it up, but really made more of a mess, I wish we would have come back with a damp towel or something, but perhaps he was embarrassed. The lamb Ragu was the highlight, but the wild boar ravioli and the spicy rigatoni were also very good. The caprese bruschetta was fun, but we absolutely loved the olive oil and fresh bread!
Myself and two friends went. We each shared our dish, plus some appetizers. Everything was top-notch. The ravioli was next level.
Went for a date on a Tuesday night for wine and charcuterie board. Unfortunately, they no longer have the charcuterie board and replaced it with something called a share board. Gave it a shot and wish I hadn’t. Massively overpriced for what they bring you. The pickled vegetables were good, but nothing exciting, the salmon paste was gross. And for some reason they served raw, radishes and raw carrots. I suppose if you are a pescatarian, this might work for you, but I was massively underwhelmed. The bartender was extremely nice and did a good job. The place was pretty empty which is not shocking for Tuesday night. It’s nice inside and had good atmosphere for date. Oddly closed at 9 PM. The staff is very polite when we stayed late unintentionally. We finally realized it was 920 when they turned all the main lights on. Not their fault I’m sure they wanted to go home and we had stayed past closing time unintentionally. Hopefully the rest of the food is better.
I was planning to visit this location for the first time for my birthday coming up, but after reading the reviews, we're changing plans. Hell is Romano's down the road still open these days? I haven't been there in 20 years.
The food was undersalted and, in general, just isn't worth the price. There are much better Italian restaurants in Austin in approximately the same price range (e.g. Intero).
Excellent first-time experience here with a party of 12 family members. Great service, excellent food, and privacy via a separate room reserved ahead of time. Nice job across the board!
Not recommended! The Margherita Pizza was the worst ever! The tomatoes on that were raw! The ravioli was better tasting!
