I love this place! Carne Asada is so good

Went this weekend with my family, the michelada was really good, portions were great for the price, everyone enjoyed their food and for 6 of us to eat and drink for 120 bucks was great. Lots of options on the menu, but my mom was craving menudo so that was out Sunday stop of the day. Parking sucks, park across the way and walk over. Only negative Parking: Few spaces at the restaurant and tough navigating in large vehicles

Lovely restaurant with amaaaazing food. Ruined all other Mexican restaurants for me, I can now only eat tacos from Juanita’s. Al pastor soft taco is and the flan, sooooo good.

My wife and I have been to Juanita‘s 8-10 times in the past year and we have been pleased every time. I am not going to rave about the food and claim it is the best Mexican food, but I am going to guarantee that the food is prepared with care and very tasty. We have eaten many different items and all are satisfying. The menu is phenomenal and I am not exaggerating…so many choices make it one of the finest you will ever see. The SALSA BAR is outstanding, offering many options. Quite deluxe! And, the breakfast is as good as anywhere and served all day,. They do serve beer and wine. The ambiance is like an old school diner and very clean. The atmosphere is welcoming. The family and staff are kind people who treat everyone as though they are the most important people there. Warm smiles are abundant. Best of all, the prices are more reasonable than every restaurant that is as good. SERIOUSLY!! In fact, we have been a little put off by the rising prices at most Mexican food establishments but that is not the case at Juanita’s. This place is a WINNER for SANTA ROSA. I am writing this because I’ve lived in Sonoma County for 48 years and the past 12 years in Santa Rosa and driven past JUANITAS many times, only discovering it to be a gem two years ago. If you’ve ever wondered whether or not to drop in but haven’t, do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal there. You will continue to go back.

Prompt and friendly service, good with coffee refills Perhaps the best corn tortilla chips I have had since leaving southern California. Robust and flavorful. Not like the anemic sad things one sees in too many restaurants. My wife had the spinach, cheese and chile omlet. It was of considerable size and replete with spinach, mild chiles, and jack cheese. It came with excellent rice and beans. She loved it. I had the chile relleno burrito. Again, generous helping of sauce, chile rellenos, pinto beans and rice. I ended up taking half of it home. I love it. I also had a carne asada soft taco with salsa from their salsa bar. Magnificent. I adored it. (yes, it was a very small altar) Nice surroundings. I will be back.

Good food good atmosphere and great service. Kind polite and friendly
