Joy Palace

Fantastic dim sum place. Nice variety, and you can start eating almost as soon as you sit down. Crispy whole ducks and racks of ribs to grab on your way out!

Restaurant name is Ding Feng now. Gave up trying find parking in chinatown so went down south to here as never problem finding parking. Went christmas day so it was busy af but got a table quickly. Got a bunch of stuff and bill was lot less than i expected so got my value worth. Nothing was overly salty which was good. Nice to hear cantonese throughout whole restaurant give it that old school vibe. Some of the ladies also speak viet if needed. Restaurant is dirty af but hey they busy and it's in the hood so you got to put that in perspective.

Delicious, authentic dim sum place in Seattle. Great variety and warm even near closing time, and fair prices as well. This was also the fastest service I have ever seen: from the moment we arrived to the moment we were done eating it took less than half an hour. Possibly rushed due to being a bit late, but worked great for us.

2023年12月29日到店品尝。这是一家老华人开的广式早茶餐厅。外面门面不算大，里面其实空间非常大，适合办婚丧嫁娶的宴会或企业年会。我们是从外州飞了3000公里来西雅图度假的。以往，这种老华人开的餐厅，我们年轻一代留学生不太去，因为总感觉店员、食客们和我们不是一代人。不过，在家里亲戚的推荐下，我们还是去了。到了地方才发现，谷歌地图上显示这家餐厅还叫Joy Palace，其实现实中已经改名叫Ding Feng了。 凭心而论，食物的味道挺好的，我们点了很多点心，还点了两个热菜，很好吃。很多种点心里都有虾仁作馅儿，可能是广东菜的一大特色。服务人员的年纪都比较大了，有很多人不会说普通话或者说得不好，只能说流利的粤语和不太流利的英语。我们大陆留学生和他们交流还是有一定困难。不过，看得出来他们都很乐意服务客人并帮客人解决问题。我们去的时间较晚，中午12点半才到。眼看奶黄包和流沙包一直没有推过来，我们就去问了一位服务员阿姨。阿姨人很不错，在明白我们需要什么后，专门去后厨帮我们问还有没有奶黄包和流沙包。只是我们运气不好，当天中午的奶黄包和流沙包都卖完了。阿姨为了补偿我们，特意拿了一碟4个的糯米奶黄糕给我们。这一点非常值得点赞！下次来西雅图还会再光顾的。

Love their milk tarts, the best in Seattle, this is the dim sum we always go!
