My favorite japanese cuisine place . They have great selection for vegetarians as well.

While the restaurant is pretty, the vibe is very much style over substance. We were done with our food before our drinks arrived, and service was slow despite the restaurant being at half capacity. Our food was also of average quality and did not reflect the price.

Walked in. There was no hostess upfront so I just sat myself at the bar. It was a cold day so I was craving hot sake and fresh fish. Took a minute for anyone to get me a menu, but the bartender was friendly. I asked about the hot sake, turns out they only sell one version of hot sake and it’s $30 for a small carafe! Even the bartender admitted this was a lot and gave me the price upfront cuz in his words “people complain”. I thought about it for a minute, then walked out and drove to Blue sushi and got the hot sake I was craving for $10.

The food was wonderful. Everyone had great customer service.

Such amazing service. I came with a big party and our server, Mario, was such accommodating with all of our needs. 10/10 recommend JOI at the domain for any event including birthday parties. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

My favorite restaurant in the whole of Austin! My first date with the loml was here and this place holds such a special place in our lives. The food is soooooooo good you cannot go wrong here.

I waited for 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge my existence after I was seated. No one ever came to the table to even take my drink order, even after I had alerted a waiter passing by that no one had helped me. Took my business next door to Taverna.

I tried the Poke Bowl (subbed the tuna for salmon), the Brussel Sprouts, the Viva Las Vegas roll and the Philadelphia. Every single plate was delicious, and I loved the little box the poke bowl came in. I would say the best one was definitely the Viva Las Vegas roll! Extremely delicious. Service was amazing, Natalie answered all our questions and gave great suggestions. The restaurant itself is very chill and a little bit fancy, good vibe.
