Johnny’s Grub to Go

Great food great service. Stayed open late so my friend and I could get food. Mary and Ginger do an amazing job.

This was such a an unexpected place! It looked like it would just be a standard greasy American fare food truck. But it has such a good traditional Filipino menu! I tried several dishes (between me and my friends) and it was all very tasty! It doesn't look like there is seating from the outside, but there is a charming shelter where you can eat. Definitely would recommend.I especially recommend trying the Halo Halo if you want a unique and very tasty ice cream/drink.

Authentic Filipino food along with regional favorites. Fried pork belly is succulent. Halo Halo is a must. If you've never had this Filipino dessert/drink, you will be back. JGG features an excellent Halo Halo.

Food was delicious and plentiful. We were a little chilly downstairs (it was 30 out), but I loved the mural and the food more than made up for it.

Absolutely LOVE this place. There is occasionally a bit of inconsistency in the food from time to time. Nothing bad and still delicious, but can tell if there is someone different cooking that day. Be patient with them, as your orders are all cooked to order and well worth the short wait! Love the new addition of an indoor dining area. Beautiful mural on the wall, too!

Passed by this food stop numerous times on my trips back and forth to Bloomington. Didn't have a chance to stop because they we're closed each time I drove by. Finally got a chance to stop today and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the service! If you're headed west to Bloomington or Indiana University, I highly recommend stopping in to grab some food! They have a wide variety of items on the menu.

Fresh and delicious Filipino, Asian and American food. Ginger's brisket sandwich is a standout!
