Best food in rockford. Great breakfast place

They have, by far, the best chicken sandwich I've ever had!

Always top-notch: My chicken and biscuits dish was recommended by patrons in the next booth, and it did not disappoint! It was delicious and an excellent stick-to-the-ribs warm comfort dish. Your wait staff are the best. They never fail to be courteous and friendly and fast. I'm looking forward to your Belvidere location, too!

My wife and I cannot say enough about this place. Aside from the food being delicious and the servers being spectacular, we love George and Manuel. There is never a moment where our drinks, and/or coffee cup have been empty. This whole crew teams up and works together. We recently went to another place because Johnny Pamcakes was packed and we regretted it. Not because the food was bad, but because the servers and the bussers strictly kept to their own areas. I totally get that, but if you walked past me with a pot of coffee to the table behind me, and you see my cup is on the edge of the table and empty, it takes five seconds of your time to fill my cup and do a solid for your counterpart. Other restaurants in Rockford should visit Johnny Pamcakes to get a lesson in excellent hospitality. I don't care how good the food is at a restaurant but if I have an empty cup or a request for something and I see your staff standing around and checking their phones, I'll never be back.

This place has horrible service, they charge your credit card more than what they put on your receipt. Also the food is rushed, too small for dining in, food is slop if you do carry out. I would have gave zero stars, but it wouldn’t let me. Smh. Also it was red hair in my food one time and my hair not red.
