Absolutely LOVED Johnnie MacCrackens!! Was visiting Marietta from California from work and i ended up coming here three nights to sample the great beer selection and food. The locals were very friendly and i had some great conversations. The atmosphere was awesome and there were lots of rooms to explore and hang out in as well as an awesome back patio. Loved the beer selection.

Spend the money you work hard for elsewhere. Overall this place is a fun novelty bar. Food is a hit or miss most days. Servers have repeatedly treated veterans, fire fighters and policeman with disrespect and discontent. Dude with the long beard named Travis with the p**** hat is extremely unprofessional and makes this business look terrible. On more than one occasion he's been inappropriate with female patrons and hostile to customers. Get on his "bad side" he will deliberately make your experience worse as a customer. If it wasn't for the other bartender with the fitted shirts balancing him out I don't think anyone would come back. This business strides on staying open late enough to draw in underage teens and college students. No improvements made to rude staff.

The chili and cheese french fries were very dry, need more sauce it was like regular season hamburger meat but the different beers that they have available is wonderful and the house Irish beer is great

The oil for the fish fryer needs changing more frequently. My fried fish came out a dark brown and soaked in oil. I have had the best fish and chips here before. Sad this time wasn’t the usual light fresh fry it usually was before.

Wow. Been going to this place a while and tonight it’s like they were trying to purposely get people to leave. And we did. The guy in the black beanie and piercings behind the bar was purposely playing screamo rock music super loud so none of us could hear each other talk. Went to the bar to ask if they could turn it down and the guy said no I’m trying to hear it. Super disappointed. It’s an Irish pub. Play Irish music or regular music at a low volume. My ears are still ringing. Good food tho.

Not sure what happened. We've been through numerous times and have brought many out of towners here over the years, but last night was terrible. Figured we'd stop in as they're always posting about trying to bring in the late crowd. It was packed. With the people screaming at each other and then the music over top of it, it was nuts. Ordered food and dang. What the heck happened?? The only thing that was half decent was just the corned beef. The potatoes tasted days old and the cabbage was boiled and rubbery. Not a dash of seasoning. The burger my husband had wasn't bad but definitely nothing to write home about. After this visit I don't think we'll be coming back at night or anytime soon. The dive bar feel has lost alot of it's charm and the layer of perma crud has grown. There are better places in Marietta to spend money in.
