John Holly's Asian Bistro

Delicious! We had a poke bowl, peanut curry, fried rice and cheesecake. We also received the complimentary pineapple boat that was adorable Weeknight dining was chill. New neighborhood favorite.

I've lived in this neighborhood for most of my life, so it's surprising that I've only just discovered John Holly's Asian Bistro. With a very unassuming exterior tucked in among several other local favorites, I guess it was easy to look over. But once inside I found it to have a very welcoming atmosphere. We ordered the baked green mussels with dynamite sauce for an appetizer. For entrees we ordered the California rolls, Philadelphia rolls, Alaskan rolls and the wonton soup. Everything was excellently prepared and served, and came out of the kitchen very quickly. The rolls were the best I've had; the Alaskan rolls gave me a genuinely emotional experience as all the powerful flavors packed inside took their turn. At the end of our meal we were served half an orange coated with a sweet powder, which was a nice touch. Prepared for anything at checkout, the price was easily justified for the quality of the meal - about $45 before tip. An excellent location for dates, family dinners and work meals. I highly recommend it, and will be returning as soon as possible.

We ordered take out and were excited to try them as we heard they had great food. Our Mongolian beef was good but the sesame chicken was a gooey gelatinous mess and the chicken itself was dry as well. Very disappointing food quality

Excellent food! I picked up my order this time, but next time I will probably dine in for sushi & Sapporo

An Uber Eats driver picked up the wrong order and then told us he didn't want to go back to get it. But the restaurant sent their own delivery driver out to deliver our food. 10/10 service and food!!!
