Joey's NY Pizza

Great flavor but crust needs more structure. Pricey!

My wife and i picked joeys ny pizza one day. And now it's our favorite pizza place. We live in pueblo and won't touch any pizza places here in pueblo.. I will hold out till I get to joeys ny pizza.. hopefully they can open a store in pueblo in the near future.

This is my favorite local spot for a NY Slice! Preprepared pizza is always top notch quality and freshness when I get it. Service is always great. Tried the 24" pizza this time and it was amazing. Made fresh on the spot, tossing the dough and everything, lol. My apologies for the missing slices, couldn’t get anyone to wait until I took the photo.

I wanted to love this place, being from the Northeast. The pizza is great, but the service is terrible (and I’m from Philly…). Visit after visit I’ve been disappointed. This will be my last.

Please know I come here enough to give it 5s every other time. The staff today is the pits! The music playing is atypical rap music, inappropriate for the older couple that were here, the 70 something man thar came in for his pizza and the couple that turned around and walked out.. When I arrived they had 3 slices of pizza only. The same 2 other slices are still sitting there. A couple came in told they were just putting some in. They felt the atmosphere and saw the staff looking annoyed that they have to actually stop goofing off and work. They left! My pepperoni slice was terribly upgraded to a fugedaboutit that I always order. The typical parm cheese shaker was apparently garlic powder! I didn't realize and dumped it on my pizza slice, sadly after my red pepper flakes. I tried to wipe some off. Went to the front and I could clearly see they saw me coming but ducked around the corner. The guy cooking conveniently hid behind the wall playing with his phone. I had to literally place myself after waiting a while to yell and wave. Did they offer me a new slice? Nope! He said , aw yeah we probably need to label those bottles he he. I asked for oregano to even if out at least. I can tell you I will suffer for this meal for HOURS. The mozzarella was old. They added no new. I now have to wonder how long that pizza was there and if this will follow with food poisoning! Their service sucked. The food was terrible. They have still not placed any new pizza up front. Unreal! Very sad because this is usually very good. After my meal I spoke with the manager. He assured me this wasn't typical and was going to refund me at my insistence. I suggested a gift card so I can come back and see if it's gone back to the usual standards. While waiting there I see how dirty the counter and glass up front are. Crumbs everywhere and no one has been in to order since me. Hoping this doesn't go down the drain with so many other places. I will miss the pizza I once enjoyed.

Great food, service, and a great experience all around.

Great place to get an awesome pizza. It's the only place we go for pizza anymore.

Being from the North East Kingdom this pizza reminds me of home. No other place in Colorado compares. The dough is fantastic. Pizzas are loaded with toppings and the new ranch they switched to puts the icing on the cake. My husband got a buffalo chicken pizza and it was loaded with chicken. My margarita pizza was perfectly balanced in flavor. We shared the new pickle fries and they are the best in the city. The new management of Joey’s is killing it in upgrading the menu. If you haven’t been to Joey’s you are missing out!!

Joey's NY Pizza is truly tasty and authentic. They absolutely know what their doing and don't be misguided by the name... they have a tremendous menu with a variety of dishes. It was nice to find this place so close to home.
