Joe's Pizza

FANTASTIC. All the way around. Had a simple cheese slice and it blew me away. I've lived in Los Angeles for 6 years, and Joe's HAS TO BE the best Pizza in the city. I could DRINK their sauce. Like, literally put it in a cup, give me a straw, and look away! LOL! The cheese offers a nice tang and the crust was PERFECT. Joe's over Prime, Purgatory, Stella Barra, etc. No offense to those guys, but Joe's defies the "Los Angeles doesn't have good pizza" trope!

Drove 2 hours to get here and is by far the Best pizza in America. Service was excellent and and great atmosphere… highly recommend pulling up

Joe's Pizza in Santa Monica is a hidden gem for pizza lovers. The New York style pizza is simply amazing. The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. It's definitely worth the drive from Orange County. I highly recommend trying their classic cheese pizza. You won't be disappointed! It doesn’t get more authentic than Joe’s. A real slice of New York. Can’t recommend this place enough. (Get the cheese pizza. You won’t regret it)

Not as good as in NYC, but only pizza place in the area open until 10pm. I'm sure the difference in climate makes a difference with the dough. Also, more expensive in Santa Monica than in NYC, a quick bite to eat. I obviously have an East Coast pizza bias...
