Joe's Crab Shack

A good place to go for boiled and seasoned crab and other shellfish. It doesn't feel like it's as good as it used to be, but it's still pretty good. The prices are a bit high for average quality food.

The food was terrible. Overcooked and why would you put spices on Dungeness?? Our server didn’t check on us and I had to go to the bar to get my own water. Although it was nice weather and there were customers on the patio the whole time, we were told it was closing and were seated in the VERY noisy dining room. Never go!

Terrible service and food was a joke brought my food 20 minutes later brought my wife and order was wrong

They need to be more descriptive on what exactly goes into/on their food. My mom ordered popcorn shrimp and couldn't eat it bc it's covered in some type of Cajun spice. When we asked about it, the waitress said it's just black pepper. I'm sorry, but no. She was kind enough to remove it from our bill but that wasn't necessary as we brought it home for my husband to eat. The coconut shrimp and oysters Rockefeller were delicious but some of their other shrimps were severely overcooked. The staff weren't the most attentive and they weren't that busy. Luckily no one tried to sell me on their hush puppies being fresh or made in house considering I know they come frozen from Sysco. It's a perfectly decent place to eat but I wouldn't go out of my way to choose it.

The food definitely wasnt the best seafood I have had. The food came to the table almost cold but the worst part was the service. We waited so long for condiments, never got a refill on drinks, I left my whole plate of food I was so disappointed

Food was ok. Paid with gift card. Wanted to use the balance toward tip. Server said can't do. So lost 7 dollars there. No big deal. Soda was damn near as much as a meal ridiculous. 10.00 for two non alcoholic drinks and had to ask for refill. Took forever to get my granddaughters ice cream. Server seemed anoyed when I asked where her ice cream was after waiting 20 minutes. He probably thought we weren't going to tip just use gift card. Probably should not have but we did 20percent.....won't be going back anytime soon
