Joella's Hot Chicken - Cumberland

I was disappointed in the lack of customer service that I received, considering that I'm a first time customer. I was served by Dequana. I was looking at the menu and not once was I greeted or was I asked if I could be helped. She just stared at me until I walked up to place my order. A simple 'Welcome' or 'Hello' would have been satisfying.

They were closed apparently at 5:50 on a Monday. Idk when they closed but people were still in there. It’s time for short staffed to no longer be an excuse for places being closed. Pay them enough and people will show up

Staff was inside sleep at the tables. What a joke.

Quality has gone downhill. I visited the restaurant yesterday for a quick late lunch and was extremely disappointed. I got three wings and fries. There was a wait, which i wasn't upset about. I was expecting hot and fresh food. The staff was also nice. Once I received my food I was upset. Yes, the food was hot but the wings were massive and needed to cook for at least another 5 minutes. I felt like I was eating baked chicken and I couldn't taste any of the spice. They were also EXTREMELY greasy. My fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease and were not fresh. I didn't even finish the meal. Ive eaten here before and really enjoyed the food but after today I can't say that I will ever return. Such a waste of money.

Good was good. Lemonade was good. But i waited 25 mins for a tiny salad and a side of mash. No one was around except front counter.. People got food before meal full meals even.. N someone that traded food w them got food before I did.vit was ridiculous.

The banana pudding had no bananas. The chicken was good. Loved the gravy on my mashed potatoes. The service was poor but much of it caused by ordering from an ap. Over priced for the quality and experience. *Edit: I emailed as instructed by whomever manages this and got no response. The food is good. The service needs work. *2nd Edit: 2 weeks later and I never got a response from their management email. Downgraded star. Haven't returned. I recall the staff having deer in headlights looks when I asked about my order. Honestly shocked to see this place still in business.

Horrible, HORRIBLE!! Been waiting for over an hour for food! My food was given away TWICE to other people! I will NEEVVVVER eat at this place again!! Management please teach your employees better customer service.
