Worst sandwich and shake

This would be such a nicer place if the customer service wasn't horrible. There were 3 employees chatting to each other in front of the till when I tried to place an order. Took them 2 minutes to care enough to make eye contact with the first customer in line.

Horrible service - visit is not recommended! The employee did not want to clean the dirty tables left by the previous clients. The worst thing is that the two workers were threatening the guests to lock them in the shop if we did not get out immediately - it was 10 min before the shop was supposed to close. This attitude needs to be fixed by the management. Date of visit: 17 march 2024, 19:30. At least the juices were alright.

Absolutely awful service :( I asked for a vegan sandwich and whilst eating it saw tuna on it! When I went to the counter to tell them that it had tuna on it, they weren’t even bothered. When I asked if they clean the board whilst preparing the food, one of the two servers said “ mistakes happen”. The other lady eventually said she would replace it for me but I really didn’t want to have another sandwich from there. She then said if I wanted I refund which I accepted. It was my first time ever at a Joe & the juice establishment so I was so excited to try the vegan sandwich but will never go back again. I really wish they were genuinely sorry for the mistake but they weren’t bothered at all. Very upsetting experience. Will be emailing the head office to complain.

I found a fingernail in my drink

Well located and spacious cafe, but super underwhelming experience. The barrista's seem rather unbothered and as I waited at the counter for about a minute, one of them was scrolling through their instagram account right in front of me. Beyond that, the music was playing louder than in some London nightclubs, and seemed to be the personal playlist of the employees as it didn't quite match the usual Joe & Juice vibe. Coffee and food great as always though.

Food and drinks all great, as were the staff. Disappointed the floor was sticky, table tops not very clean and some areas on the floor where crumbs etc not cleared - this would be fine at say midday but we were there not long after they opened and was quiet.
