Good food and good service, but the value for money isn't there. If you just want to fill up on galbi this isn't the spot.

Great Atmosphere and drinks, however the menu has been revamped and some of the previous items like the marinade short rib are not as great as the past. Also with ala carte only 4 side dishes are provided, the soup and salad can be purchased separately which does not make sense if you are getting 3 ala carte vs the JAO package This use to be the spot for Korean bbq not the case for me anymore

Absolutely loved this place, the food and service were exactly what I was hoping for, I love that they cook for you and explain everything as they prepare your food. Everything we tried was super tasty and the restaurant had a fun vibe, great for groups or even just a date night, we will definitely be back very soon. We also really enjoyed their specialty craft cocktails prepared by the bartender. A few stand-out dishes: shrimp pancake appetizer, the duroc pork belly and the mountain bulgogi are a must try!

Wow wow wow. The food here is exceptional. AND the service here is exceptional. We were helped by Phe and Bronco. They had great recommendations and such positive attitudes. We will definitely be returning.

Yazan was amazing he is very helpful with explaining the menu and very attentive. Overall the food, workers, and service are very good. Recommend for a big appetite.

Loved this place!! First time for my wife and I. It was our anniversary and I made the reservation in advance. When we arrived all of them knew and treated us really well. The food was incredible. The waitress was super nice, very attentive. The atmosphere of the place is really nice. Definitely I will recommend this place!

Loved dining and JOA Karen’s BBQ! Our waitress Lilly was awesome, explained the menu and was so friendly! She gave us the best recommendations and truly made our experience. Highly recommend the Taste of JOA and the fried dumplings - their cheesecake is also delicious.

오늘 굉장히 귀한 경험을 했기 때문에 자세히 적어 나누고 싶네요. 한인타운에 위치한 k bbq 음식점이기 때문에 한인들이 이와 같은 경험을 피하시길 원하여 한글로 적겠습니다. 1. 위생상태 : 우선 처음 앉았을때에 의자에 촛농?소스? 같은것이 뭍혀있는 것을 확인하였습니다. 그럴 수 있지 라고 생각하며 호스트에게 말했는데 냅킨을 건네주고 "I think the candle fell over earlier”이라며 말하고 그저 쳐다만 보고 있더군용. 본인이 sanitizer이나 rag으로 직접 닦아주는 것이 아니라 저희가 직접 냅킨으로 저희 앉을 곳을 닦는 (주로 푸드코트나 맥도날드에서 경험할만한) 귀한 경험을 하였습니다. 추가로 태이블이 엄청 끈적해서 팔을 올리자마자 때어낼떼 야무진 소리가 났고 의자도 마찬가지여서 화장실가려고 일어날때 바지에서도 야무진 스티커 소리가 났습니다. 2. 음식: 반찬 4개를 주는데 (오이소박,장아찌,샐러드,브로콜리) 네개 다 평균이하의 맛을 자랑합니다. 요리 안해본 제가 집에서 뚝딱해도 비빌정도. 그리고 심지어 오이는 조금 상한맛이 나서 고기 먹기 전에 속이 살짝 아리는? 귀한경험 하였구요. 고기는 나름 맛이 괜찮았는데 이게 고기굽는 속도가 코리안이라면 절대 참지 못하는 속도로 구워줍니다. 무슨 고기 오마카세인줄 하나 구워주고 다음거 구워주는데 30분걸림. 7시반에 도착했는데 채끝하나 먹고 두번째 먹으려고 할 때 8시40분 정도. 아무튼 생략한 부분이 많았는데 너무 신선한 경험이여서 다른 한인분들이 비슷한 상황 굳이 겪지 않도록 주의차 글 올려봅니다. 고기가 땡기실 때 집에서 5분거리가 아닌이상 캐롤튼쪽으로 핸들을 꺾으시길 바랍니다. 개인적인 경험이니 슬쩍만 참고하세여.
