Food was so good I forgot to take photos . Pretty good noodles. Your options are pork, vegetables or chicken but no beef. Great environment and experience. Definitely will be coming back! Update: Second time coming here for a birthday and wonderful experience again!
I love Jinya ! This location is great because it’s not as busy or waitlisted as the flamingo location but the service and food is great and consistent. We always get the same thing and if you come in happy hour you get lots of options to pick from for a much better price! If you like salmon try the salmon poke tacos! They’re so yummy Vegetarian options: Vegan options!
Staff was great! We were welcomed warmly, seated right away, and promptly presented with a menu and suggestions. We ordered gyoza, 6 pieces, about $10. Was delicious! I ordered tonkatsu spicy ramen. Wasn't too spicy, and at $17 for a smallish bowl, I didn't feel I got my money's worth. They were out of mushrooms and I was offered spinach instead. I also ordered the salmon/tuna/shrimp poke, and was allowed to substitute extra salmon instead of the tuna. $16 for the regular size. I found the salmon shredded rather than chunked, rather mushy, and just 2 shrimps. And the rice was brittle, dry, and crunchy. In summary, enthusiastic, attentive, (albeit somewhat pushy with the menu suggestions), staff; less than stellar quality of ingredients, and even more disappointing portions; and not so great value for what you get. We're going to explore other options for Japanese food in the area and won't be returning to Jinya.
