We wanted dim sum, and we found this place because of the fun name. This is a small and quaint dimsum resturant. The xiaolongbao were very good and juicy, both the regular and rainbow. The vegetable dumpling were suprisingly good too. The broccoli was also very good, as was the fried rice. Vancouver has very good Chinese food/Dim Sum, and this place is no exception.
My table was overcharged. The server left for 20 minutes and wanted to refund the difference with tip.
A must stop on the YVR food list. We have been here at least 6 times and never disappointed. Consistency one would expect, great service and Sherman’s Old Man playlist on Spotify kills it! Eat here and subscribe to his play list in that order.
Hands down the best broth I have had in a XLB. Their effort and dedication to their broth is easily noticed on the first mouthful. My only real complaint is that the cheese XLB is weird. Someone might be into it, but not me. I would come back.
the Ha Gow was just super fast service with bao making display
Fantastic soup dumplings, kids loved it and so did we! Recommend their local beer and salt and pepper chicken too.
First time here for me and the fam. Being an xlb lover and seeing the cool colors I had to try it. Soup taste and stuffing are very well balanced. There wern't any plate we did not enjoy and we ordered a good variety. The service was friendly and great, the atmosphere felt very inviting.
Soup dumplings were so good they made me cry. I highly recommend Taro buns as well! Cozy place with great service and delicious food!!
Boa was tasty and surprisingly light. Service was excellent; we felt perfectly taken care of. Atmosphere was cute and comfy. Would recommend, especially for their happy hour special (1-5pm I believe)
