Title: Pricing Discrepancy and Unpleasant Experience at a Local Chinese Restaurant I have been a dedicated Google reviewer for New York, and my recent experiences with one of our community's Chinese restaurants have left me with concerns. Despite enjoying their food for over four years, I have discovered a significant pricing issue. While the quality of the food remains OK depending on the dish, I found that this particular restaurant is overpricing its menu items compared to others in the area. For instance, they charge $22 for fried chicken wings that costs between $15 to $18 at all other nearby restaurant establishments. Having developed a good rapport with the staff, I brought this matter to the attention of the person at the counter, expecting a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, my attempt was met with resistance, and shockingly, the race card was played. This incident raises questions about the restaurant's integrity in pricing and its commitment to customer satisfaction. As a reviewer, I believe it's crucial to highlight such experiences to help our community make informed choices. I hope this establishment improves.
Great! Shrimp fried rice is authentic old school. Not that yellow rice that arrives in 55 gallon drums. This is the only Chinese food take out for miles that serves the original recipe. CHECK IT OUT! UPDATE: November 2023 Down from 5 ⭐⭐ ✨ to 3 ✨ It appears this restaurant is under new management. The fried rice, while it's not yellow, is lackluster at best. I really wish that they had stuck with the original recipe for traditional fried rice, but that didn't happen. Their seafood soup has suffered also. Not the same. Goodbye old friend. It was great while it lasted.
Food always tastes very clean and not old
The lady at the counter is very nice, food is delicious. Especially the fried rice
Solid for the price. Cant go wrong if you want something quick.
