Cute shop with cozy atmosphere. The uncle at the register recognized me as a new face and immediately recommended the salt and pepper chicken, then disappeared into the back to make it fresh to-order. Really juicy and flavorful chicken with big portions. I’ll be eating this for a few meals. Highly recommended!
Great foods. Very friendly staffs. Highly recommend double chicken drumsticks. So good that i need to order a side order.
Great food! Really enjoyed the fried dumpling and soup
This is truly a hole in the walls no frills type of joint. There is only 4 small tables for 2 and a small counter for 2 seating. We got their double fried chicken, the pork belly rice and the salt and pepper chicken. The double fried chicken and salt pepper chicken were very crispy and the pork belly is melt in your mouth. All the dishes were tasty and satisfying. Would def love to come again to try out their other dishes
Jin Wan is a hidden gem, tucked away in a cozy, small hole-in-the-wall shop that exudes a genuine and homey atmosphere. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in warmth and hospitality. The Taiwanese braised pork over rice stole the show, delivering a symphony of flavors that left us craving more. Each dish felt like a labor of love, crafted with care and authenticity. Jim Wan is a hidden gem that we can't wait to revisit.
Hidden gem! I hope it stays hidden but at the same time I want more people to discover this place. Huge portion, very affordable price for Chinatown, and food is delicious.
Amazing food, people. Double drumstick was sooo crispy and juicy. The braised pork is amazing too!!
Tried the sauteed veggies, pork chops, salt pepper chicken, twice fried chicken, braised pork over rice, and fried rice. Every single thing I'd order again. Can't wait to try the fish ball soup and pan fried pork buns.
