Jin Thai

One of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! The chicken satay and Panang curry are to die for. My boyfriend has celiac and we’ve eaten here probably 50+ times and he’s never been glutened. So nice that he can eat delicious food and feel safe. Love the food...so fresh. The Vietnamese roll appetizer is a must have!

Looking forward to some green coconut curry with the green beans, thai basil. It can be an exquisite combination but this dish fell far short at Jin Thai. There was no appeal in the green curry/coconut sause. And a funk to the taste (was it the chicken?) Watery sause. I can make better at home in a second. Also, they forgot to include the jasmine rice! Who forgets the rice? I had to cook rice at home. Oh well.

Great Staff relaxing atmosphere and terrific food!

I hate to write this review, but I must... Let me start by stating that service was excellent, however, the food was horrendous. The food was absolutely flavorless. I must note, I didn't have anything special, I simply had the beef fried rice. I literally had to stop eating it about five bites in. I paid the bill and went to another restaurant in the area. Very disappointed.

Food is amazing and staff are friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean and orderly with a lovely atmosphere and nice music. We got the chicken satay which was amazing- the chicken was super tender and the sauce was incredible. I also got the boat noodle soup with pork which was so good- very spicy, meat is very tender, very flavorful. My mom got the yellow curry which I tried and it was very flavorful as well. Definitely recommend! :)

One of the best Thai style noodle in the Chicago uptown! My go to spot in this area!
