I chose to come here with a friend, based on the ratings, which what we got was far below the 4+ star reviews. The service was good, but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the 6 inch Old school Grilled Ham and Cheese, which only had two very thin slices of ham, a scent amount of cheese, lettuce and tomato. And I found its taste was just as lacking as the contents of the sandwich. The onion rings and milkshake were tasty. My friend ordered a double cheeseburger and even though he had what I would expect in the topping department, he said the taste was very bland and he didn't even finish a third of his sandwich.
Great burger, one of my favorite in town. But the last three times I’ve ordered I pay for ranch and it is missing out of the bag. That’s excusable once, maybe even twice. But three orders in a row? I’ll never leave again without double checking. Will change review to 5 stars if rectified with some free ranch the next time I am in. EDIT: used to come here all the time but I will not be back. No more phone orders and then they tell me to order online, yet the website says not accepting online orders. Sorry not going to wait in there forever for take out when there’s 100000 other places in the city. No thanks! I hung up and went elsewhere. Figure it out. You used to be good…
Very nostalgic. Food was good. VERY long wait for two burger meals, even longer for our milkshakes. The service from the younger kiddos was alright but the older woman manager we spoke with was rude and impatient. I just wanted to know where our milkshakes were.
This place is awesome, and my burger was fantastic! Great atmosphere with the whole hotrod theme throughout the place. A coworker who had been coming here for decades took me for my first time, and I will definitely be coming back! If you like green chili, ask them to put a green chili slice on your burger. It is huge and it was soooooo good! I will definitely be going back soon! Oh and my cherry coke was hand done with cherry syrup
Great grilled ham and cheese and onion rings! Friendly service. Clean tables!! 1950s decor and music (played softly).
I won't say the food is anything special but kids love the atmosphere.
Loved paying 7.50 for a burger made with what were quite obviously the meat scrapings from the grill. Might as well not even have added a patty. They also got my friends orders completely wrong, argued with them at the register, and out of the “kindness of their hearts” offered to not charge them for the “upgrades” to their meals. This place has been a two for two thumbs down. Gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first terrible experience, but no way. This place won’t last much longer, and good riddance.
