Sandwiches well made and fresh

Used to be "Freaky Fast" now its just "Bleh, maybe...." Took my order for delivery, Im a few blocks away at work w very little food options. Thats okay, i'll order JJ ahead of lunch, it should be here when I take my 30 mins. Nope. I call five mins into lunch, I ordered 20 mins prior, Ive got 25 mins, no biggie right? Well, "The driver will be there in about 20 mins, were making it now..." What!? So forty minutes? "Forget it, refund me.." They offered a credit instead?! No way, I don't have time to visit or wait again. You offered convenience and failed. The food and service are bad. Never again.

My partner & I went to JJ on impulse for sandwiches. Upon entering the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by an employee. Now, we understand that all staff is trained to make guests feel welcomed & the 'Hello' is part of the training, so we expected the standard when we entered, however, this employee's 'Hello' was filled with actual care & enjoyment of people! During the time we were in the store, we continued talking with the employee, exchanging humorous quips, talking about life lesson type of things as well as short, honest discussions & none of this interaction seemed forced or done as per training instruction. My partner & I really had a pleasant time during our visit to the store! Prior to leaving, I asked the employee for his name & he said it is Martin, then we thanked him for his help & conversation. My partner & I hope that he is scheduled to work the next time we visit the store. Thanks again Martin! Oh, & the sandwiches were as tasty & fresh as they always are, too! We ordered three Gargantuan sandwiches, 3 large drinks & one loaf of day-old bread.

First time ever trying a Jimmy Johns and I will definitely be back on account of their customer service alone. I ordered online and I guess my customizations did not save. I called them and told them and they said to come on back and they would remake the sandwich for me. They were so friendly and the sandwich was very good!
