I agree with the review below. The burgers are nothing special. The exhaust system needs to be replaced as I always leave smelling like a burger. The only cash policy, not so great bartendes...overall it's a hassle and stressful to dine there.
The dining experience left much to be desired. The food was disappointingly bland and lacked any distinguishing flavors. The cheeseburger and fries were particularly lackluster; the burger was flavorless, and the fries were soggy. Even the "Mozzeralla in Carozza" seemed poorly executed, with a soggy texture reminiscent of low-quality ingredients. McDonald's offerings boast more flavor in comparison to this painfully mediocre place. Service was adequate, though unremarkable. Additionally, the restaurant only accepts cash, which may raise questions about their financial practices. Do we need an audit?
To be honest I only took one takeaway order and if atmosphere inside looked good and the burger was done in 10 minutes, the burger itself was average if not worse. I ordered medium well but the patty was too well done and dry, and overall not seasoned. Maybe it was just that day but I was disappointed
Best burger & hideaway bar in New York hands down! Try the fries too!
We walk passed this place very often and always saw people waiting in line so we decided to give it a shot, but it turned out to be the worst food ever. The roasted beef sandwich was literally tasteless with just every ingredient put together. The bacon cheeseburger was okay but 7th street burger is definitely way better than this UES local hype!
JG Melon is flawless - great food, vibe, staff. Always enjoy stopping in here for a bite. Tip: Try the chocolate cake!
