Topped off a beautiful afternoon with a stop at Jeni's. Had only been once to a Jeni's in Philadelphia and rembered it fondly, so we stopped as soon we saw the sign. We weren't disappointed. The variety of flavors is playful and tasty. I tried a couple of flavors themed for the recent eclipse. The employee behind the counter was friendly, welcoming, and smiled non-stop. She did a great job getting our orders together. We were quickly on our way and enjoying our cones. Remember : always stop at the Jeni's sign!
Always a pleasure when I'm traveling and there's a local Jeni's to visit. Got two double scoops no one had any room for at home, I have to settle for the pints from Whole Foods.
Staff really tow the company line for their wages, which is fine. But don’t expect a tip after telling me no to an easy to accommodate request. Won’t be back.
Giving two stars only because of the incredibly friendly employee behind the counter handling the entire line by herself, otherwise I’d give one star. My family and I came to this location on a Sunday. Sundays are usually quite busy to my understanding but there were only two employees working. It took us 35 minutes to order, with only 3 parties ahead of us which is extreme in my opinion. The second girl did not hop on the line ONCE to help her coworker handle the line which was disappointing to see. Instead she stood there wiping the counter over and over again. In my opinion restocking should occur after the line is dealt with. I felt bad for the girl scooping because she was handling customers nonstop with a smile on her face.
Absolutely zero gluten-free , vegan flavors. You can do better!
Jenni's Ice Cream is a fantastic spot for bikers or skateboarders like me. Their Butter Pecan and Brown Butter Almond Brittle flavors are incredible, and their waffle cones are a must-try. The staff is super friendly and always makes me feel welcome, almost like they're ready to serve ice cream on wheels! It's definitely the go-to place for delicious treats in town.
Definitely hit the sweet spot. The honey vanilla bean is good but the gooey butter cake one is too sweet for my liking with all the chunks of cake inside.
