JD's Bar-B-Que

This place used to be great, but it's slowly going downhill. Our fries were obviously previously frozen, the glass cups are gone (replaced with cheap plastic), the ribs were very fatty last time and my order was incorrect. It seems like the value and quality just isn't there anymore. Plus, why would I pay to eat at a sitdown restaurant that uses frozen food?

The food is good but my issue is with the pricing and adding 3% if you pay with credit card.... in small print on the menu apparently. I won't be back.

The brisket is amazing !! The atmosphere is great, it’s clean and has huge windows to let the light in. The staff is all friendly and the food is terrific! Definitely going back

Shared a meal here with family visiting from the west coast. We wanted them to taste authentic BBQ and JD’s was the perfect place. We had ribs, chicken and lots of sides. The meat was juicy and tender, just right smoky flavor.Brunswick Stew, delicious. Fried okra, check. Collard greens, spicy and on point. Mac n cheese, creamy and delicious.Coleslaw, yup. (I ate all the Brussels sprouts sorry, not sorry) Hush puppies, fun. Liked the BBQ Sauce. Local beer, yes please, thank you. Friendly service, cute and clean atmosphere, our experience was great.
