Colorado... Seafood. At first glance, you might not think these two words go together. However, Jax Fish House lives in that space quite comfortably, even in a landlocked state. With above average quality, balanced cocktails, and wait staff with your needs in mind, it's no wonder this location keeps it's patrons coming back. Although the prices can feel steep, for those looking for authentic, fresh seafood for their next date or special occasion, you can't get much better.

Our NYE experience was lovely. Right when you walk it, you're met with the smells of richly cooked seafood, delightful carbs and fresh prepared ingredients. We sat at the bar which I would highly recommend for first dates or couples. We made a reservation and it seemed like that was the norm. The staff was great, gave tons of recommendations (including wine and cocktail pairings) and we got to be part of the fun of the busy night! Our meal was the New Year's set menu but everyone sitting around us got dishes from the normal menu and loved them as well! Definitely felt comfortable being more dressed up but nicer casual wouldn't be too out of place. Highly recommend, we will be going back! Parking: Parking on College is challenging but the parking garage on Laporte is a short walk.

My favorite seafood place in town! Love the oysters, the chowder, the cocktails and actually everything I've ever ordered here! Highly recommend!

Best happy hour, calamari, oysters, gumbo, cornbread, chowder and seafood in NoCo.

Best calamari I've ever had!

We ordered oyster shots and a dozen raw. 45 minutes later with no food we asked for our ticket and were charged $85 for two beers. I spoke to the bartender and she charged us $12.90 on someone else’s credit card and tried to give us the card. I explained that’s not ours and acted like I was in the wrong. She came back with attitude and was upset that I called her out and asked for the charge to be placed on our credit card and not charge some random person. Never again!!!
