Javan Restaurant

I have been getting Ghormeh Sabzi Tahdig for $11.95 for months. Today I check and it’s $17.95. $6 more wow tarot inflation is a real thing.

We are visiting from Montreal where we are used to good food and fine cuisine. I did some research and wanted to try an authentic Persian restaurant with my family. My daughters and I were greeted warmly by the lovely hostess and within minutes the owner, Ali came to welcome us! He is a warm charming man and treated us to the most amazing Gheimeh Bademjoon with Tadig on the house. We had the Kabeb Kobideh and the boneless chicken and Ghormeh Sabzi. They were all exceptionally good and the service was top notch. It was lovely to be in a Persian restaurant with the warmth that is typical of the culture! We now have a favorite place in LA!! Restaurant Javan is back, and their food is delicious, especially their beef kubideh, in my opinion. Great service was provided to us, and they were fast to serve the food. They gave us complimentary bread and butter and make sure you get their yogurt mix as an appetizer.

Javan restaurant under Alex’s management is a place that you consistently get high quality Persian and Mediterranean food. The staff are very kind and friendly and the restaurant is very clean with a nice ambiance. Recently we had a big birthday celebration and Alex spent time reviewing the catering menu and providing feedback. The food was delivered on time, while it was still hot and steaming. Everyone enjoyed the fresh salad, juicy koobideh, and a variety of other delicious food. Vegetarian options: Very tasty vegan koobideh and other vegetarian options.

Good Persian food.

Not enough signs to let you know that they are open. Went there for lunch, chicken kobideh and chicken kabob was very tasty and meat temperature was great, our server was very polite, we tried baklava not so good … but overall good food!
