One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Everything was absolutely delicious but with a light touch, left the restaurant feeling fantastic.

The drinks were great but I probably wouldn't eat here again. The service was ok, slow but friendly so I didn't mind. I went here trying to find food before going to a concert. I'm not vegan but thought we could try it. I ordered the quessabirria tacos, I love mushrooms and i like tacos so I thought it would be good. Unfortunatly, the tacos did not taste like birria at all- as in the seasonings weren't correct and they were tangy in a wierd way and a little bitter. I've had a lot of tacos in the Madison area and honestly these were the most dissapointing tacos I've ever had- including college campus tacos. On top of that, the tacos were 3 for $17. Most taco places are roughly 3 for $12-$15. If you're going to charge $17 for three tacos, these tacos better be the best tacos around. But they weren't; they were gross. The only other thing i ordered was a french martini which was decent.

I was tempted to write that this was the “best vegan food” we’ve had, but I think that would do it a disservice. It really was some of the “best food” we’ve had, vegan or not. We had the garden salad (see photo), the yuba salad (see photo), the lobster mushroom pasta dish, and the warm oat cookie with nice cream/berries for dessert. Every dish was beautiful in presentation and had real depth and a variety of flavors. Really delicious. You can tell the food was created by someone who puts so much care, down to the tiny details, to provide an enriching and satisfying culinary experience. I ordered a cocktail I enjoyed very much from an extensive drinks menu, plus it was a nice surprise at the end of the meal to get a complimentary digestif. The service was superb, and the outdoor eating area (Robinia Courtyard) was a beautiful setting for dinner. We will definitely be back! Edited: We dined here again on 3/30/24, indoors this time, and the food and service were wonderful again. We had the Yuba salad (looked a bit different than nearly 2 years ago but was still delicious). I ordered the Lobster Cascarecca Pasta again because it was so good last time, and it didn’t disappoint. My boyfriend ordered the Morel & Wild Mustard Pesto Pasta (which was OUTSTANDING). And again, we shared the Cast Iron Trail Cookie dessert which was delicious. We also had a beer and a cocktail, both good, and both reasonably priced. The wait staff was excellent. We love coming here— we only do it infrequently because we’re not often in Madison. Too bad!

WOWWWW! As a non-vegan, I was definitely skeptical of this restaurant, but that was my mistake. This is one of the very best restaurants in all of Madison. It was so good that I went twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the food was! The service was excellent and Juan, the chef, made our experience super memorable. Make sure to get the chickpea paneer and the bao, they are both to die for! I'll be coming back (maybe again next week haha) and plan on taking all of my friends and family there to impress them. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Thank you to the staff for such an amazing dinner!!

Food was mostly excellent, service was sub par and very slow despite not appearing to be very busy. The server recommended one dish, the braised jackfruit which was really tasty but it had these insanely hard bits as a topping that felt like they could break teeth (for sure they were a hazard to any dental work). I'm going to assume they were meant to be crunchy, which would have probably been nice, but these were far beyond edible. I would have mentioned it to my server if they had come and asked how the food was at all.

Absolutely wonderful food and service from Hailiana (probably misspelled, sorry!). She was attentive and available despite the restaurant being short staffed for the night and made sure we were taken care of all the way through. Everything we ate was 10/10 delicious.

Wow! The affrogato might be the most exciting thing I have ever eaten! The flavor combo was something I've never experienced before and it blew my mind. Fantastic restaurant, we'll definitely be coming back the next time we visit Madison.

The food was fabulous, the service was wonderful, and I loved the atmosphere.
