Jang Dok Dae

One the my favorite Korean place to eat when I’m in town. Prices are affordable. Both server ladies work attentively and food is great too. Seasoned raw crab is my favorite

Their are many korean restaurants in Duluth but none of them compare to Jang Dok Dae. I brought my Fiance and parents here in December and they greeted us at the door and sat us down expeditiously. The menu was a bit hard to understand at times but luckily Google translate helped us out for the lack of knowing korean. Once we ordered, our server was very excited to explain how we should traditionally eat our dishes and how to enhance the flavors and let me just say..... THIS IS WHY I NEVER QUESTION MY SERVERS ON HOW TO ENHANCE THE FOOD! I haven't have korean food this outstanding since I was in Seoul, South Korea. I was hit by a wave of kind memories and laughter that I almost lost in the deepest parts on my brain. Though I am not korean, these flavors were purely nostalgic in every way. If you're looking to make a memory of laughter and a great experience trying new food then I highly recommend you stop in. If you have had plenty of Korean food then stop on in for the greatest wave of nostalgia anyone could ever ask for because we all know these days...... nostalgia is hard to come by. Parking: This is located in a strip mall type plaza so you have an abundance of parking. So no need to stress over the "parking situation" haha.

我們在星期六中午前來用餐，我們點了帶骨牛小排LA갈비구이，豬骨馬鈴薯湯감자탕 。因為同行的友人還沒來，阿姨一直來問我們是否可以點餐，但上完餐之後可能因為人力不足，想要請她們加小菜或是加水要等非常的久，我們總共按了三次服務鈴都沒有人前來。可能要避開人多的時候前往用餐，服務才會好一點。 但是餐點的水準是沒問題的，갈비구이 份量給的夠，감자탕 味道也不錯，有喝了朋友的설렁탕雪濃湯也蠻好喝的。牛肉的份量也蠻多的。小菜最愛辣蘿蔔。

This restaurant is very biased towards Koreans. Sat our party down but didn’t acknowledge us for 20 minutes. They didn’t give us a menu or asked for our drinks. They served all the Koreans that came behind us; gave them drinks and appetizers but didn’t look our way. Tried to get their attentions several times, but they would just walk pass us like they’re busy. Even if the food here is amazing, I do not recommend it unless you want to feel like you’re begging for service.
