I’ve waited before reviewing this place, I’ve been here several times and it’s never a good experience. They're always out of plantains, tonight the plantains were old and dried out. I ordered the Rasta pasta, the server informed me that it’d be 20 minutes, I said no problem. After almost an hour of waiting and paying $30 I got 6 shrimp with soggy over cooked pasta. I only received this after asking for a refund. After I asked for a refund, and told them they haven’t offered any compensation, I was offered a beef patty and a soda, the patties weren’t good. This is the first time I’ve a doughy patty and the soda was flat. It’s suppose to be fresh, where is this fresh at? He warmed up old pasta and threw in 6 shrimp. I really would’ve preferred a refund, because this wasn’t worth my time and money. Then the chef comes out to tell me, to enjoy the food, he told them he wasn’t doing anymore cooking, but he did it anyway. I will not be returning.

Salt fish needed to boil some more toooooo salty

Ordered large oxtail for freaking $26 and got enough for a small portion. There were only 2 butter beans in my entire order. The server literally picked thru the meat and gave me the smallest bones with barely any meat, I had to say something to her like seriously! I asked for more beans in my rice n peas cause she was giving nothing but rice! No plantains! And the cabbage was enough for 4 bites! You charged me for a large and I got a small! Won't ever spend my coins there again. Not to mention I make extremely more flavorful oxtails, they were tender so 1 point for that.

I will never go here again. I went to the restaurant last night at 8:32pm for a to-go order and was informed that at 8:30pm the buffet line was no longer available and I had to order my food at the bar. They then told me that because it's 8:30 that the food prices had gone up (i.e. Curry Goat went from $18 to $26, and the Ox tails went from $26 to 31), plus because I ordered from the bar the waitress received a 15% gratuity ($8). My total bill for two meals was $71, and all the waitress did was type my order into the computer and then later handed the food to me wrapped in plastic from the back. Ridiculous. Plus I ordered plantains that I never received. And when I was leaving at 8:56pm with my meal someone was getting their food made at the buffet line. Really??? Poor service and crazy pricing. Never AGAIN!!!
