I had to pay for red beans and rice. Where they start doing that. My chicken and cabbage was ok .

I wanted a jerk dinner, I called for approximately 20 minutes no answer I then walked in to purchase my order which was a jerk chicken dinner mixed with yams and cabbage. The wait time was 45minutes to almost a hour. (It felt longer)1st red flag. I waited because I really wanted this jerk. Not knowing it was gonna take that long, at least 10 or more people came in after me received their food before me. 2nd red flag.I heard the lady ask for #85 at least 5 or more times 3rd red flag. I was finna ask for a refund and I should have. I wanted to check my food before I left but I just knew in my heart this food was finna be the bomb! NOT! 4th red flag. The chicken terrible , they must have given me the last of the batch before the 10+ people before me, cabbage wasn't fully cook nice amount though and the yams were just ok, finally the bread was fresh (usually not). I was so disappointed in them once again. A unsatisfied customer. I can't post my pic I don't know

I am a longtime customer. I absolutely love the new space. I can't wait until they fully open it up

One of the best Jerk in world but sometime they're slow

I had jerk chicken, cabbage, mac n cheese and rice n beans .. everything was delicious but skip tue rice n beans... bland no flavor... they didnt have any yams several people were disappointed about that.... they only doing take out right now the inside dinner area is still being fixed up.....it looks nice once it opens all the way it will be a nice place to hand out

Always flavorful on 79th Street, definitely can't say the same about the Cermack location.

Be prepared for a long wait- even if you order ahead. And someone PLEASE tell the owner/operations manager that I should not need to produce an ID and physical credit/debit card to pay for my order in 2023. I can use secure, contactless payments such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. UPDATE: I visited in January 2024, and I was able to use Apple Pay!
