I have been looking for authentic haitian food, this place is the best of both worlds! It has Haitian and Jamaican all in one spot. They are very generous the portions of food that they give you and they have stayed true to the Haitian and Jamaican style of flavoring. Their hot pepper is real HOT pepper nothing is watered down when it comes to the food, what you expect to get, you will get that and more. Come ready to eat because once you start you are not going to want to stop! My husband and I will definitely be going back!

You ever wanted to cuss someone out for making such good food !! I'm mad at this place mad that they had me hooked from the first day I ate there. I've been going back to back !!! The food it's unbelievable the presentation the smell and the taste is sooooo good I've told everybody and their momma to stop by I can't get over it this place and the people are amazing I'm mad that I haven't found them sooner!!!

Best carribean food by far in Tampa

Just used them to cater to my aunts 70th birthday and they did not disappoint. Everything was amazing from the macaroni, stew chicken, griot literally top notch catering service.

This little gem was a great find! My boyfriend has been to Haiti and I’ve been to Jamaica and this place had a nice blend of both. We had the legume stew with rice and beans; the Ke Bef (oxtail) and the chicken pate. Everything was amazing. Nice blend of spices. This was my first time trying oxtail and I will definitely be eating it again. It was so tender and the sauce was incredible. Jonas, the owner, was so nice and chatted with us during our visit. He makes you feel welcomed and takes good care of his customers! We will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: They have fried green plantains and salad. Parking: Free large parking lot. Kid-friendliness: If kids like this kind of food, they will love it! Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room for a wheelchair.

Just two months ago, the food was more flavorful and rich. Today’s meal, the gravy was watered down and the rice did not have as much flavor as it has been in the past. It’s always a fear of every customer that once some place becomes popular and the business grows, quality suffers. This is becoming visible with Jahiti now. Hopefully they’re able to turn it around or pull back before the quality becomes worse.

This restaurants is one of the best in the area. The owner is very friendly and professional and greeted us upon coming in. The food is authentic and very flavorful. This place is definitely my #1 go to when I am in the area. Come check them out and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

While visiting from out of town, seven of us visited Jahiti Caribbean restaurant. When I tell you the food was good.. believe me. Very tasty, well seasoned foods, and we had a variety of dishes. The atmosphere was excellent and the service was very good. We will be back!!!!

Place can use a face-lift. Smells like smoke.... not very inviting. Food is not too bad.
