Good Chinese Food,especially dimsum.

Food was ok. Place was nice and clean, but feel like the atmosphere sales the place. Servers were horrible. Drop our food off, didn’t ask if we needed anything else, asked for fork and soy sauce, the lady seemed irritated , so I was afraid to ask for anything else lol. They never checked on us once. Wouldn’t go back again! But glad I went so i know
点心味道都还不错,除了排骨有腥味,价格不低。会回购
Overpriced food which is not very good
It seems like it's been forever since I last had dim sum in Chinatown... That was back before Jade Dynasty opened up in the Mah Society building back in the mid 2000s. (Anyone remember Ming's which used to be located in the building next door?) The interior of the restaurant looks like they've had a renovation a few years ago and they have nice high ceilings inside. Service was a bit slow (I think they try to make batches of the same dishes so you might wait longer for a particular dish if no one else orders it). The taro with assorted meat dumpling had a tasty meat filling but the taro was a bit denser than I prefer. The steamed chicken claws had a good sauce but the chicken feet themselves weren't too tender. We liked the stuffed eggplant with shrimp paste and thought the crystal prawn dumplings (haw gow) were on point. But the beef rice rolls were just a bit standard and the siu mai wrappers were a bit chewy. The bean curd wrap with enoki mushrooms was very light (not having any meat in the filling). I liked it but it fell apart quite easily. The last dish to show up was probably the best... Steamed beef balls with bean curd sheets. These turned out with a perfectly bouncy texture. Overall, I'd say the food was pretty good but it is a bit slow (and nearby parking isn't as cheap as you'd think it should be). Update: Revisted in Feb 2024 for dim sum. Prices are fairly reasonable at about $8 per dish. Deep fried egg tofu with mixed mushrooms was good and loved the sauce but I was expecting more mushrooms. Nicely prepared pan fried radish cakes with noticeable chunks of radish inside and a light and crisp skin inside. They call their chiu chow dumplings Rissoles. Big filling but the wrapper is a bit floury. Also had the steamed spareribs with black bean sauce, Chinese donut rice roll and the black sesame balls (hot and moltan black sesame on the inside).
The food is great but even though the service was average, they will force you to leave at least 18% of tips.
