This place is absolutely horrible. I wouldn't mind the ridiculously high prices if the food was actually good. Almost $45 for ribs that were extremely tough and dried out/over cooked, and a half chicken that wasn't even close to being fully cooked. There was blood pouring out the chicken. The whole bottom of the food container was all bloody and only chicken was in that container. When I spoke with one of their employees she made it seem like it's something that has happened often. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all, ever, for anything. Reply: Yes, absolutely horrible. Your reviews aren't evidence of anything. Especially since on Facebook your reviews are only 2.1 Stars. Including complaints of your so-called Famous (dried out) Ribs that sell out every day. That's great that you use farm fresh ingredients as most places do. But that doesn't really matter if your people don't know how to cook those ingredients. When you serve a half chicken that has blood pouring out of it that pretty much says you don't know what you're doing. Yet your proud of undercooked chicken. And yes for dried up ribs and an undercooked chicken $45 is pretty expensive compared to a restaurant that serves properly done BBQ like the Texas Roadhouse. Which happens to have award-winning ribs and fully cooked chicken. And if your workers and community members are worth the investment of a few extra dollars then why aren't you paying them a livable wage? And now you're closed. No surprise.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when I stopped by, but from what I could see, it looks like a hidden gem. The restaurant is a cool outdoor space with unique and stylish decor that caught my attention immediately. The seating area is on one side, and on the other side is a designated parking area. It seems like a perfect summer spot to hang out with friends or family. I could imagine enjoying a great meal and a drink in this awesome setting. Although I couldn't taste the food, I felt like the atmosphere of the restaurant alone was worth mentioning. I can't wait to come back and try the food when the restaurant is open. Based on what I've seen, I have a feeling it's going to be a great experience!
Tasty, fresh and fast, what more can you ask for. We tried the fried chicken and the brisket sandwiches with a coleslaw and fries sides and everything was excellent. Great selection of ice cream too
Visiting the area for the weekend and stopped on a whim, so glad I did. Great BBQ, ice cream, & brews and nice outdoor space. Bags, bocce and a cool firepit. Will vouch for the sides too - herbed beans, coleslaw, and potato salad are all great for vegetarians or people just trying to eat a bit less meat! James and Kevin (owners) are super friendly and Hailey behind the counter was wonderful. Worth a stop on a nice summer day!
Great burger and made with local ingredients.
Above the order window is a little sign stating they will add a 10% service charge. I didn't notice this when I placed my order. The food photo I posted is what you get for $50 at a self service outdoor setting restaurant. The food and service itself was okay. I ordered the brisket which was good and very tender but was about 1/3 fat. Would I return, no, would I recommend it, maybe for Ice Cream if you want to enjoy their outdoor area which does offer some games and decent music.
Chicken and beef were very fatty. Asked for fries with no cheese because my kids don’t like cheese and gave me cheese anyway. So many bees!
None of the pictures of great bbq was available. Place opened with limited menu. They charge extra fees even though this is mainly a takeout window. The brisket was over cooked, but the Carolina bbq sauce was good
