The server was very approachable and took the time to explain the menu.

I must say this is the best BBQ in Tacoma. Everything was spot on. And they have a decent Bourbon selection too! Updated: just came for breakfast and had the brisket burrito. Absolutely delicious and well worth the price. They also have Bloody Mary’s with pickled eggs and okra!

Happy to have a Jack’s outpost in Lakewood. Comfortable spot to dine in but since it’s in my neighborhood, they do a good job with takeout. Ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are all excellent. Also, a nice array of sides with a special thumbs up for their hush puppies. Stocked up today for the Super Bowl tomorrow. Parking: Handicapped spot right by the front door.

I usually try and come here twice a month on Friday and do a to-go order for my family. This last Friday they ran out of a lot of the food i usually get, this was not a big deal but i had to pick items that were not my go to. One of the items was the appetizer chili that is $11. The guy that took my order seemed stressed so i tried to stay in the corner while he was running around and as soon as he handed me my food I jetted out of there. I got home and realized that my chili was missing, granted i ordered enough food that i was not worried. My big issue is when i called the guy seemed like i was lying and in the wrong. I told him it was not a big deal and we could figure something out. Thats when he said i know i put it in a bag and it had to go somewhere. Thats when i said, "man you were carrying like 5 bags in the span of a couple of minutes could you have given it to someone else". He then said well i have to talk to my manager and call you back and hung up on me without getting my number. I also would like to mention i tipped 5 bucks just because he seemed stressed when he was taking my order so i was trying to be nice. The $11 dollars isnt a big deal and i don't want it back now. I will just make sure not to go back and hopefully find a new BBQ spot. The lady with the braces that usually works there is pretty nice.

Excellent BBQ! Some of the most moist and flavorful brisket I’ve ever had. Dare I say perfect! Wish they had a sweet BBQ sauce but the sauces were good too! Mac n cheese was great, Brussels sprouts were AMAZING, pulled pork was super flavorful! Ribs literally fell off the bone. Smoked Ice Tea and strawberry lemonade…

Ordered in uber eats and apparently their loaded fries is just fries. Lol why would i pay 18 dollars for a container of fries?

This is a great little place for some BBQ and a nice 'beverage'. The atmosphere is pretty chill and the service is friendly. NO attitudes here. The BBQ is really on point. Great house BBQ sauce! I am on the fence with the mac-n-cheese. I can't figure out the spice and maybe that's the deal. I'm from east Texas so I take my Mac pretty seriously. Been here about five times and the meat is always on point ans is the wait staff.
