make sure you get the fried okra and some chicken food was so hot n fresh it was awesome and quick

I wanted to give them 5☆ but there are a few things that could be done better. I'll cover those in a bit. The chicken was cooked fresh and juicy. Well seasoned and delicious. The collard greens were decent. It's not greatest, but good. They could use more fat back and kick. The mac-n-cheese is good. Not grainy, but it could use a little more seasoning. So a solid 8 out of 10. The Knoxville hot chicken is good. I only got one wing to try it. I'll get it again. Sweet Tea.. is sweeeet! Get it half/half. Overall the meal was very filling and satisfying. The seating is limited, so get there early for lunch. They really really need to get better ventilation in the kitchen. When it gets busy the place fills up with smoke from the grills. That is the biggest drawback. You will leave smelling like deep-fried food. Parking: The parking is more limited than the seating.

Hands down the best fried chicken and fried okra me and my husband have ever had!!! The service was fantastic too!! If you have never eaten here you have to try it!! You will not be disappointed

I have never and I mean NEVER written a review but this time? I HAVE TO. When I say the amount of flavor in this food is IMMACULATE!!!! I also got the fried catfish combo with cabbage and yams but I gave it to my husband at work and didn’t get a picture but I tried some and mmmmmm is the food always amazing here! Hands down the absolute best place to eat in Knoxville! You HAVE to try the collard greens. You have to try EVERYTHING lol! Corn bread, mashed potatoes. All of it! MOUTH WATERING 10000000/10! I wanted to bring a gift back for appreciation!
