Great little bar at the corner! Just moved in around the corner and will definitely be a regular here.

My family and I came here yesterday (03/17) in the afternoon and I’m disappointed to say that it was yet another bad experience. The hostess was really nice however the server we had was extremely rude and dry and it’s not the first time that this has happened. We were okay with sitting outside, we just didn’t want to sit at the table next to the line so we asked the hostess if she could please skip us so we could sit at another table away from the line, and the server rudely approached us and said that we could leave if we wanted to because that’s the table we had and period. RUDE and that’s not the way to approach a conversation that wasn’t even being discussed with her. My family and I are from Astoria and have seen this area change throughout the years, I have seen businesses come and go, and it is extremely disappointing that these hyped new spots won’t serve the community with the respect we all deserve. I guess it’s clear that these spots are here only to serve the gentrifiers of this community.

The restaurant was really busy for brunch and the food took a while, but service was pleasant and the waitress managed to keep up with our bottomless drinks despite being so busy. Food was good and we’d definitely come back.

Very enjoyable local gastro pub, tasty food and good drink selections. The kitchen sadly is not big enough to keep up on a busy day and the service team does not seem to be adequately prepared to provide a great service during busy times. I'm sure coming during non peak times can warrant a great experience but don't expect the best during brunch times, it just isn't going to happen unfortunately.
