Jack Allen is always great. I have never had a bad meal here.
Will was amazing. Food was so fresh. Very impressed with this place.
I had the chicken fried pork chop and it was quite good. Juicy with enough but not too much crust. The cream gravy needed more salt but was otherwise okay. It was served with steamed vegetables which I thought was a good side.
Our go-to restaurant. They have a killer burger and appetizers. Their specials are always rotating and delicious. Edit: just had another weeknight dinner there and it was packed. I guess after the recent freeze everyone wanted to get out of the house for a nice dinner. Our order took a little bit longer than usual but I figured it was due to how busy it was and didn’t even mention a word to the waiter. The manager was on top of it though, he came by and talked to us ensuring he was doing everything possible to get it out to us as quickly as possible and within 5 minutes we were eating good. He comped us a round of drinks due to the wait and I couldn’t be happier. Absolutely amazing service! Solidifies our favorite go-to restaurant in Austin.
It's time for the menu to be updated! Service was great.
Solid local chain you can come back to again and again. Solid modern southern fare. They always bring out a taste of the pimento cheese and house made crackers, and it is a delightful start to any meal there. We loved the queso. I was bummed they took my old favorite crispy salmon and crab salad off the menu. My sons loved his burger. My daughter adored her quesadilla. Great “neighbor higher end” dining. Dietary restrictions: They are able to work with you but possible cross contamination Parking: It is in a strip mall with plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: Higher end local chain. Very family friendly Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible
Jack Allen's is a great place to try new dishes and not be worried about being disappointed. Always a hit. Take your friends!
