J. Gilbert's Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood Columbus

Love this place SO much!!! Have been many times in person but tonight ordered food from there via DoorDash and wasn’t sure how it would go but J’s wrapped up the food perfectly and kept cold from hot and put ice pack with the shrimp cocktail. So impressive! Never seen a restaurant handle takeaway with this much care. Love this place even more!!! Highly recommend.

Manny was our server. He was great! I had the 4 oz fillet with salmon. It was cooked perfectly. The crab bisque was delicious. And for dessert I had the chocolate velvet cake fabulous! It's definitely not an inexpensive meal. But it was all delicious. Good atmosphere. The booth are kind of close together and the isles are narrow. Everyone was warm and friendly. I forgot to take pictures of our food.

Place was amazing. Candace is probably the best Server in my life. She was very polite and knowledgeable. This was impressive for my 1st time.

Parking: It was free everywhere. Kid-friendliness: They were so nice about me being there even made me there son so nice

Our waitress Candice was wonderful. She was very helpful, very attentive , and was concerned about the quality of our food. She was friendly but not over bearing. The scallops were great.

We did a take out. I really felt the food was very overpriced, for what you get. The presentation is great. But the actual food wasn’t that great. Everything was coated in butter. The steaks were not cooked like they should have been. I ordered mine Medium Well and I really got rare Because we picked them up and brought them back to our campsite there was nothing I could do. I also had asparagus and Yukon potatoes. I wasn’t fond of any of it. Now the Cesar Salad was great. I really liked it and the dressing. Overall I would say don’t waste your money, because you will be disappointed.
