J. Alexander's Restaurant offers a refined dining experience with impeccable service and a diverse menu featuring high-quality ingredients. Menu is somewhat limited but food is always excellent no matter what you choose. Service is likewise always excellent. Interestingly, the conversations of other diners don't disturb. Prices are a little high but the experience makes it worth it.

My dining experience at this location was dreadful. Not the type of experience one would expect from a restaurant with the name of J. Alexander’s… First, the moment you walk in the door you are greeted by a horrible smell that reminds me of a soured cleaning rag. Second, the customer service was lacking. Lastly, the food was not seasoned or prepared with the same care and culinary flare as other locations. Unfortunately, I’ve had this same experience the last few times I’ve been to this location. Do yourself a favor and go to Cool Springs.

Steph was wonderful server, very attentive. Tried the steak salad instead of usual Thai Kai salad. The steak salad had way too much dressing. Would have been much better if it weren't drenched.

Garbage. If you want to eat something that tasted like something you could have picked up at Kroger but for $100 instead of $20, then this is your place! Steak tasted like it was marinated in hotdog water, oven baked chicken tasted like Krogers rotisserie chicken. Had to hunt down my waiter, twice. Watched others get bread and butter to start, we did not- guess you had to ask for it. Cheers.

The Manager Amber Stanton went above and beyond customer service she provided nothing but soul hospitality I can tell she puts heart into her job we initially had reservation for 8 she made room for 12 at at last minute just to make my nefue birthday special I can express in writing the pleasure I have knowing in my heart that if I come to Redlands am be taken care whole heartedly great food and great service they go above and beyond thank you she’s one a kind and I most definitely would never let her go as manager.
