Very nice Japanese restaurant. Food was excellent. Sake options were great. Service was awesome. Recommend calling ahead for a reservation

This is my favorite restaurant in Oahu. It’s a casual-dress restaurant, but the food is so good, I feel like I am going to a fancy high class restaurant and need to dress the part! I come here for my birthday, special occasions (because it is a little pricey to eat sashimi :/), but also if I crave gyudon (beef bowl) or sashimi. The otoro (fatty tuna) is amazing and melts like Haagen Daaz ice cream in your mouth. I always get the salmon and maguro (normal tuna) whenever I go. The service isn’t always the fastest because they are always busy, but the food and drinks are so delicious, it’s definitely worth the wait and price. They have an amazing sake selection and a Matcha IPA (that tastes much than a normal IPA). Their sushi and appetizers are also amazing.

We went right before they opened and there was already a line forming outside. The food was pretty good. We ordered nigiri (otoro, chutoro, king salmon, and hamachi). While the sushi was good, the price was only for 1 piece, which I thought was pretty high. I also ordered the pork belly bowl. I thought it could have used a bit more flavor. The best dish was the hamachi carpaccio. The service was friendly enough (they were really packed that night). The atmosphere was casual and upbeat.

The food here was mediocre at best, and absolutely overpriced. Sashimi was sinewy and the donburi was fine but definitely not worth $35. That being said, the hamachi carpaccio was excellent. In terms.of service, the staff was very friendly but our food took over an hour to reach the table. Overall: much better alternatives around. This was a waste of a $100

My boyfriend and I loved this place for date night! Great service, delicious food, and we love their late happy hour. We will surely be returning soon!

Parking: Fairly limited number of spots available on site. Located on a busy street, but side street parking is available within reasonable walking distance.

Only 1 waiter available for all tables. The table and menu were sticky and greasy when touched. Food was okay, some were overcooked.
