What a delicious Izakaya in Honolulu, everything here is amazing foods, drinks, services and atmosphere. If you’re interested please go and see!!

Came here 5 years ago and so happy they made it thru the pandemic. Has real izakaya atmosphere and not very touristy. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. We loved getting a variety of food and enjoying the atmosphere.

I love this place. On my last trip to Honolulu this was my favorite restaurant, so on this 3-day trip, I ate here twice. I've now had four dinners here, all delicious. Very authentic Japanese Izakaya at reasonable prices.

Such great food and good value for the island! My party ordered about a dozen items off the menu from the pork dumplings and octopus balls to the ginger pork and miso pork and everything was delicious.

The Japanese customers are extremely NOISY. They have no awareness of how their loud conversations affect other customers. I have to block my ears when I simply want to enjoy the food. The waitress seems unbothered and joins the loud crowd with their conversation. The food was really good but lacked variety. The portions for appetizers are smaller compared to 2022. I will not dine in again.

Managed to call in an impromptu reservation an hour ahead and so glad we did! Atmosphere and food 10/10. LOVED the unagi don, miso beef intestines, jellyfish, and the bbq squid which was probably the best squid of my life - practically buttery! The only thing I wouldn't reorder would be the oolong Japanese cocktail which tasted just like a plain iced oolong with the barest whisper of alcohol at the end. Definitely the place to come for a long time with friends or family and continuously order so you get to sample a lot over a sustained period of time :) cheers!
